Join the 2020 Small Grains Virtual Whistle Stop tour on its fourth stop as it visits Henderson County in western NC at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center in Mills River.

At this stop, Dr. Angela Post, NC State Extension Small Grains Specialist, Ryan Heiniger, NC State Official Variety Testing Program Director, and Jeff Chandler, MHCREC director, describe malting barley quality and variety selection studies at the Center, as well as a brief overview of other projects taking place there.

The Small Grains Virtual Whistle Stop Tour series is a production of the North Carolina Small Grain Growers Association.
